1. Monetary Donations

As our generous neighbors and esteemed community partners, you recognize the value and sustainability of our mission. Your support echoes not only in the walls of Seton House but resonates throughout the lives of those we assist. Together, we are weaving a tapestry of hope, resilience, and empowerment.

Where do your monetary donations go?

When you contribute to Seton House, your donations play a pivotal role in directly impacting the lives of participant families. These funds are instrumental in furnishing apartments, ensuring that every living space is a comfortable and supportive environment for families working towards self-sufficiency. Your donations cover the day-to-day needs of our participant families, from essential household items to clothing for children.

Financial donations are crucial for the seamless operation of Seton House. Your support fuels the ongoing maintenance and repair of the apartments, guarantees the salaries of our dedicated staff, and covers essential utilities and insurance. These contributions enable us to sustain a supportive and empowering community for families in need. Every dollar you donate goes towards creating a foundation of stability, ensuring that participant families have the resources and assistance necessary to overcome challenges and build a brighter future. Your generosity is not just a transaction; it is a lifeline for families striving for self-sufficiency.

2. Donation of Goods

Seton House residents greatly benefit from donations of everyday essentials, encompassing household items, food, personal hygiene products, and cleaning supplies, ensuring they have the necessary resources for a stable and supportive living environment.

What we need:

Everyday Donations
  • Household items: If you use it in your home, we are likely to use it here at Seton House too. Each apartment is fully furnished with items donated by community members. We even provide twin-size sheets and blankets, towels, and kitchenware for each family, so all such items are needed.
  • Food: Canned and non-perishable foods
  • Personal hygiene items: Shampoo, body wash, liquid hand soap, diapers, and wipes.
  • Cleaning supplies for each apartment: Brooms, mops, sponges, vacuum cleaners, scrub brushes, buckets, and window/floor/multipurpose cleaning products.
  • Vehicles: Some families we serve have no transportation. A donation of a used vehicle in good working order can help those families overcome barriers to independence.

3. Fundraising Events

Seton House’s Casino Night and Golf Tournament are not just fundraising events they are vital avenues for transforming the lives of the participants in our program. When you attend one of our two main fundraising events, you’re supporting Natrona County families on their journey to self-sufficiency.

At Casino Night, attendees engage in an exhilarating evening filled with glamour and games, all while contributing to the empowerment of single-parent families facing homelessness. The funds raised during this event directly support Seton House’s mission by providing resources for practical assistance, educational programs, and counseling. Casino Night becomes a beacon of hope for families striving for self-sufficiency, offering them a lifeline toward independence.

Similarly, the Seton House Golf Tournament transcends the boundaries of a typical sporting event. As participants tee off, they contribute to the creation of transformative opportunities for families in need. The funds raised from this tournament support the comprehensive support services that Seton House provides, including job training and community building.

Together, Casino Night and the Golf Tournament drive change, making every moment of fun and competition count for Seton House and the families it serves.

Make A Lasting Impact

Seton House relies almost entirely on the generosity of the public, with nearly 95% of our funds coming from non governmental sources. Contributions big or small from caring individuals and organizations have provided the means to build additional apartments and provide program opportunities for 27 years. We ask you to help us continue to provide opportunities for families because we absolutely can’t do it without you.

Thank you for being a vital part of Seton House. Your belief in our mission propels us forward, making dreams of self-sufficiency a reality for families facing hardships. Together, we are transforming lives and building a stronger, more compassionate community.
