About

Since its opening in 1989, Seton House has sustained its original ingenuity and warmth brought on by the compassioned heart of Brother Raymond Phillips. This caring individual had the vision to seek and provide a solution that met the needs of mothers and children who were struggling or homeless. From its very inception to the present day, Seton House has been able to continue its original mission because of its impassioned staff and generous community support.

Seton House opened in Casper, Wyoming on December 5, 1989, and has grown from only three apartments used for emergency shelter to now 22 apartments, a learning center for children services, and a donation center. Today the mission is to support single-parent families as they strive toward independence and self-sufficiency.

None of this could have been possible without the substantial contributions of time, talent, and treasure from generous individuals and organizations of Casper and elsewhere in Wyoming.
